[press association. London, December 31. Sir Saul Samukl has closed the New South Wales Emigration Beaureau. It is believed that Victoria intends to borrow throe millions. It is expected that money will be cheaper towards February. Five hundred and seventy-one intending oxhibitors at the Jubilee Exhibition have applied for 65,000 feet. The Queen has accepted Mr E. Boakes' photograph of the Smidan Contingent, which was exhibited at theColinderies. The Hill Lode Company is projected, with a capital of £100,000. The company will work part of the Kaboouge property in Gytnpie, Queensland. The Citizen, a London weekly journal, suggests that Queensland trackers should be employed to traoe the Moonlighters. Mr J. A. Froude states that colonial employers would welcome the emigration of boys under a system of long apprenticeship. Hanlan starts for Australia early in February. Mr Dillon, on the ground that he has found bail not to repeat the Louglirea offence, has appealed against the trial of himself on a charge of conspiracy. One hundred thousand salmon ova have been procured from.the River Tweed for shipment to New Zealand./
