Messrs William Inolis and Son report for the week ending December 10th :— Fat Cattlk.— The supply forward this month has not been extra large, but the market has been very spiritless* upon b >th occasions, aud prices during the week have rpceded about 20i per head. The highest prices were for a lot of 121) bullocks from the Hmiter that avciaged £8 3s a draft of 152 from Derildool making £7 lo* (id. The lowest average was £5 19s fnr a draft from Nocatunga. To-day (Thursday) 745 were forward, and included a large proportion of plain cattta than were down on Monday, j The principal lota of bullocks averaged from 60 (i* to £7 14s (id, and cows at proportionate rates, the market closing very dull. At our salo yards this afternoon there was a good attendance of buyers, and our system of selling the animals singly materially helps the biddings in a dull market. We quote :— 13cit beef . .. 21s per 100 lbs. Fair .. .18s Middling l. r w SHBtr. — Prices wore very low, the highest sale being 1400 wethers from Trigalarna that brought from 9s 2d to 9s 4d. The bulk of the lots ranged from fis to 7a (id, wethers and ewes going as low as 5s and 4-<, respectively.
