Mknsrs Hunter ano Nolans Weekly llkpout.— HorsOvs: There has been again a largo number brought forward, and a good many found purchasers at the previous week** values. There was a large number of entries for disposal by auction at the Durham yard* on Friday. Bidding was somewhat brisker th.iv on the previous week, and most of tho lots were cleared. We quota : Hacks at from £5 to £16 ; light harness horses, fiom £9 to £15; light draught, £11 to i'2o. Wool, hides, and skins : An average number of ligh>. and medium were .submitted by auction at tho Durham Yards on Tuesday. Competition was steady, at from 3d to 3f(l for steer hull's and 2id t> Md for cow ; no on. were pitched ; skins, from 2s lid to 3s lOd. Wool held for series sale on Thursday. Cattle : Then: has boon a slight improvement iv tho demand for dairy and fat stock, but sufficient in number have been brought forward. Tho demand for a moderate number of stores wiih slack. The supply at the Newmarket Yard", although not an over large one, was .-.uHieient for requiiements. Dairy ews, if voutig and gf'od, sold at an advance ot trom 10s to 20 s each. Sheep : A large number was brought forward, and pries had rather a downward tendency. Tho Nuwm.irket Yards were tilled on Tuesday. Wethers sold at from !ls 3d to lls (id ; owes, 7s (id to 10s ; lambs from 7« 3d to 12s od. Piga were yarded in good numbers, but sold very low. Mh Alfred DucklaniVs Weekly Kkport.—At the Hayrnarket on Friday, fodder was in limited quantity, and late valuer. Horse stock were yarded numerously, generally of a light description, prices were low, but a large number were disposed of. At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday, best hides brought 4\d the lb ; a parcel of butchers' hides, 21s lid each ; sheep skins up to 3s lOd each ; tallow. 13s (Id the cwt. At Pukeki.be, on Monday last, the sale was held out of usual rotation on account of the holidays. A small muster of stock, nearly all fat, met with a good demand from the local butchers. At Remuera on Wednesday, dairy cattle were at lute values, Ko store cattle yarded. Fat cattle, in short supply, barely maintained last week's values. At opening of markets last week's prices were sustaided, but fell in price as the sale proceeded, raid several pens were withdrawn. Fat sheep, in moderate supply, maintained last week's quotations. Lambs, in full nuinb9rs, sold briskly, and were the only class of stock required • prices ranged from (5s fid to 14s each. Porkers are lower in price from 2< to 3s each. Several pens of poultry brought : for young geese, 3s Gd ; fowls, Is 7d to 2s; ducks, 2s each.
