LATEST PAEROA NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH .— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Wednesday.

Mr L. M. Grace arrived at Karangahake to-day, and inspected the chief mines and Railey's new plant. He received a number of deputations of miners and others. Sutro. — Retorting is now taking place at the new plant for 16 tons of ore, the amalgam from which is 4900z& The largest portion of this was saved by the pans and settlers, tho plates only saving a few ounces. A return of s<>zs. bullion to the ton is anticipated. The result shows clearly the nndoubted success of the plant.
