ANOTHER SUICIDE WITH "ROUGH ON RATS."
[by telegraph.— press association"). Waipawa, Sunday. A MAN named H. Michaelson, Sub-agent in the Government Insurance department, and Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, took a whole box of "rough on rats" poison at one o'clock of Saturday afternoon, and, in spite of immediate medical attendance, died at six o'clock the same evening. There is no doubt that it is a case of suicide, and financial embarrassment is believed to be the cause. Monday. At the inquest on the body of Harold Michaelson, who died from the effects of " Rough on rats," the jury found a verdict that deceased committed suicide by taking poison while in a state of despondency, brought on by pecuniary embarrassment.
