The supply was not large, but adequate of all descriptions, and prices, although still in favour of the purchaser, had an upward tendency as compared with the previous week. There was a large muster of stores both at Newmarket on Tuesday, and Papakura on Wednesday. Dairy cows were fairly represented ; fat beasts were more plentiful than on the previous week, but sellers were bona fide, and the demand was steady throughout at slightly improved values ; dairy and store fctock were unaltered. Sheep: No shipborno sheep were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday, and the number penned was bslow the average, but prices advanced very slightly. Limbs were in excessive numbers, and sold at fiom 3s to 10c5 each; wethers sold at from 9o (id to 12s (>d ; ewes., from Gs 3d to 8s !) 1.
