London, The wool sales opened to-day. There was a huge attendance of home and foreign buyers. The catalogue comprised 10,000 halm. For greasy merino the prices ruled from Ad to Id lower than at the close of last autumn, and for scoured merinos prices were from Ad to 2d lower. The series closes on the Kith" December.
