Annual Meeting.
The abo\e council held its annual meeting at Oluuipu on Wednesday, the 24th JNovomber, as provided by Statute. Present: Crst. Gprm.mn, llidler, Ltng. Smith, Moncrieff, Tea*dale, Hunter and Grice. The Clerk presided. It was proposed by Cr. Grice and seconded by Cr. Lang that Cr. Gennann Le re-elected chairman. Cr. Germann declined the office, and thought that office-bearing should make the round of the council. It was then proposed by Cr. Gt ice and seconded by Cr. Hunter that Cr. Teasdale be chairman of the Council. Carried. The chairman-elect duly expressed thanks for the confidence of the council, and assured them of his best attention.
