Land taken for a Road in Kirikiriroa Road Disttict, Provincial JJhtnct ot Auckland. (L.S.) Wm. F. DRUMMOND JERVOIS, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required tobe taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1832, ' for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Kirikiriroa Road District, Provincial District of Auckland. And whereas the Kirikiriroa Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act : Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities : vested in me by section eleven of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and after tbe day of the date hereof, the land so mentioned shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in the inhabitants of the Kirikiriroa Road District, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests ot what kind soever, for use as a road.
