REUTER AGAIN.
Wb have often had, in common with our contemporaries, to draw attention to the inaccurate manner in which the cablegrams appearing under the name of " Reuter " reach the colony. Corrections on most important matters frequently are wiied at great expense two or three days after the original message has been published, thus misleading many readers who perhaps see the firsst message and overlook the correction. Butit-is not often that we are called on to publish both the item of news and the declaration of its incorrectness in the same i^sue. To-day we have this duty to perfoim. The original message states that M. Zankoff was elected a member of the Bulgarian Regency, the inference from which of course would be that the ascendancy of Russia in Bulgarian affairs had become paramount. The correction received later on shows that it was a M. Zirkoff (pro-" bably a Bulgarian patriot) that has been elevated by the Sobranje to the important post of a member of the Regency whose actions are now commanding the attention of Europe.
