The Attitude of Austria. COUNT KALNOKY ON THE SITUATION.

Vienna, November 13. Count Kalnoky, Premier, addressing the Hungarian delegation, discu^ed at length the political situation in Eastern Europe, and declared that Austria had instated on the execution of the treaty of Berlin in its integrity. General Kaulbars mission to Bulgaria was simply a phase of the crisis and its importance has been exaggerated. Count - Kalnoky expressed an earnest desire for the maintenance hf peace, but not in favour of peace at any price. He dwelt at length on the diplomatic relations between Austria and Russia. These also were friendly, and the latter had promised to uphold the existing treaties, and disclaimed any intention of making encroachments in Bulgaria. The Austrian Premier declaied that he greatly valued the asburances made in Lord Salisbury's speech, showing that the support of England would be' available should it be required. u In conclusion he expressed a hope that a peaceful solution of the Bulgarian difficulty would be brought about.
