Thb second day of the Church ot England Bazaar resulted very satisfactorily, the receipts bringing up the gioss amount taken to £114. A considerable quantity of goods are still on hand. They will be disposed of on some future occasion, and will probably realise £25 more. The Key. J. Marshall, in closing the bazaar, took occasion to tendpr hi* own and the committee's hearty thanks to all friends, both here and elsewheie, who had assisted in bringing it to a successful issue. Mr Gordon, Government Mining Engineer, is expected here on Thursday ne*t, and will go over the goldtield. The Hon. Mr Buckley, Colonial Secretary, is expected shortly on a visit to the baths.
