Sir George Whitinore telegraphed to Captain Popham, of the s.s. Waihora, requesting him to keep Caffrey and Perm in irons thioughout the passaga back to New Zealand, and the arrangements for her arrival in Auckland are— subject only to alteration notiKed by cable— if the Waihora arrives at night she is to come up to the wharf as usual, when Catfrey and his accomplices will be landed. If the steamer makes the haibour dunng the day she will be met off the North Head, and the prisoners will be then received in a launch and landed at Kohiiuarama, and thence taken to the Mount Eden Gaol. Thih latter measure is to avoid the crowd which would be sure to gather at the wharf on the steamer's arrival.
