NOTICE UNDER THR PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882. It is proposed to CLOSE A ROAD running between Allotments No. 39 and 75, Parish of Pukete, and to OPEN in lieu thereof a NEW ROAD running generally in the same direction as that about to be closed, through the property of Dr. Carey. Auy objections to the taking of the required lands must be lodged in writing with the Hamilton Road Board within forty days from this date. OIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL. Notice of Intention to Levy a Bate. Notice is hereby given, that the Piako County Council intends, at a meeting to be held at Hamilton, at 10.15 a.m. on Wednesday, the 27th inst., to MAKE and levy a SEPARATE RATE of one farthing in the £ upon all rateaole property within the Matamata Riding, such rate to be for the year ending 31st March, 1887, and to be due and payable in one sum to Chas.
