The police authorities have received a cablegram from Queensland, stating that a man hits been arre>ted who is supposed to be Perm, the accomplice of Catfrey in the Uieat Bairier murder. Inquiries are linked by the Queensland Puliee whether Perm has a scar ovei the eyes, and it is understood that he had a mark o\er tlie lvtt eye. Ko mention is made of the girl Graham, who accompanied him m the Sovereign of the Se.n. A later telegram s;\y* : — The man arrested by the police m Brisbane h.u> a mark under his eye, and is believed to have been connected with a certain vessel of which the n.ime i> £!\en"Shah of Persia.'' The Chief Commissioner has wired here to ha\e a description supplied. Sufficient information h.is not been obtained yet to make it certain whether it is Perm or uot.
