THE REPORT REITERATED. Wellington, Thursday.

Ix its issue to-day the New Zealand Times says: — "Refouing to the mniour mentioned in our ye^tcid.iy\ l-^ue that the medical examination of the body of the late Captain Cain had ie\eal<d the pio'-enco of antimony, we may «'dd that on enquiry yesterday we were informed on authority that the remain*- of the unfortunate gentleman were found on analysis to be absolutely 'satuiated in antimony,' all the vital organs and viscera being largely impregnated with that mineral poison. Nothing has yet transpired as to the intended action of the authorities in the matter. It will be seen from telegrams published elsewhere that it is asserted that those who conducted the examination were bound to secresy. Our information, however, is perfectly correct."
