Richard Cashee v. R. T. Blake.— Thi* was an action brought to recover the sum of £2-"), and interest since 3rd October, 1885, upon defendant's dishonoured cheque of that date. The defendant, who is a native interpreter now residine at Wanfcanui, was unrepresented. Mr William Ross, the plaintiff's manager, proved the case, Mr Gresham appeared for plaintilf. Judgment for plaintiff, £26 5s lid, costs, £5 Gs. Other cases were settled out of court.
