I BY TKLEGRAFH— OWN COURKSPOXDKNT.] Visit to Mount Tarawera. Auckland, Monday Night. Ma C. Y. Cairo, a member of the N.S.W. football team, has ju&t returned from a vj-sit to the Hot Lake Dihtnct. While theie, mi company with Alf Warbrick and a guide, he ascended Mount Tarawera and St.ir Hill, where the flag erected by the Star expedition is still flying. He also visited the sito of the White Terrace the volcanic chasm being sufficiently quiescent to admit of this being done with safety at the time of the vi.sit. Mr C.iitd brings with him some specimens of siheious formation of the White Terrace.
