The Customs revenue for September, collected at the principle parts :—Auckl.uul, £27,571 10, Gel ; Wellington, £21,000 lls 2<l ; Lyttelton and Cnristchurch, £17,23"i 7^ Od ; Dunedin, £20,330 lGs lid. Total for the colony £103,33S 15s 4d, being a decrease of £11,00 odd on September Lust year, and an inciea.se of over £."300 on List month. The beer duty collected at the pnncipil towns was: — Auckland, £770 Gs lOd ; Wellington, £4.">5 13s Od ; Christchurch, £700 Gs 4d ; Dunedin, £703 2sod. Total # for the colony. £3,734 10s 4d, beinf? an increase of £300 on the previous month and a decrease of £300 on the September of la^t year.
