Also, The Thoroughbred Stallion INGOMAR. ROUTE. Tuesday — From Broadmeadows, via Hamilton Road, to McNicol's, Ohaupo. Wednesday— Through to Kihikihi. R«it of week at home (Broadmeadows). Inoomar'cs Pem(;ree. Ingomar is one of the first sous of Uncas who achieved renown for that now celebrated sire. He is a dark bay, standing nearty sixteen hands in height, on beautifully-shaped legs, while the almost perfect propoi tions of his frame enable him to move in all lm paces with an ease and grace at once taking to the eye and effective in action. lugomai's successes on the turf, both in England and Ireland, were of the highest ohatacter. His great fencing capabilities he doubtless iuhcrited from his sire, as the produce of Uncas are every day winning high honours in the steeplechase world. There is no doubt th it Uncas was about the best horse of his year in England, and his party, than vrhom there were no shrewder judges, made no secret of their confidence in his ability to win the Derby, but he unfortunately met with an accident a U'\v days before the race. That Uncas transmitted a considerable dash of his speed to Ingomar admits of no douht, while the blue blood that courses through his veins, inherited from both sire and dam, endows him with that most essential quality in a racehorse, stamina. A gamer horse never looked through a bridle, and it was difficult to tell wben the gallant sou of Wild Deer had had enough. A glance at his pedigree at once reveals the high lineage which is the inheritance of Ingomar, the Waxy blood appearing no less than twelve times. Two of his produce ran in the present year's Grand National Steeplechase, Too Good, who ran second, and Lady Tempest, who ran well up. Ingomar's stock are particularly good look ing, and he is a very sure toal-getter.
