CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD. 1 j _____ Notice under the Public Works Act, 1882.

It is proposed to TAKE for the purpose of MAKING a ROAD a certain portion of LAND, the property of Mr C. Ewen of Tamahere, situated next to and abutting on the vest side of the Mangaore Creek, opposite to Section No. 53, Parish of Tamahere. Said piece or parcel of land contains by admeasurement .26 perches, more or less, and lies between the present main Hamilton-Cambridge Road and the creek before mentioned. Any objections to this proposal must be made in writing, within forty days from this date, to the Chairman of the Cambridge Road Board. A sitting of the ROYAL COMMISSION appointed to enquire into atml report upon the LAND CLAIMS of VOLUNTEERS enrolled between the years 1573 and 1876, as also those of discharged soldiers of Her Majesty's MILITARY AND NAVAL FORCES," and other claims of a like nature from any of the Local Forces of the colony will be held at the Hamilton Courthouse at 10 a.m. on the Ist and 2nd of October next, when the Commissioners will hear evidence in support of all claims brought before them. Claims in writing should be forwarded to the Secretary Royal Commission, addressed Post-office, Hamilton, on or before the 30th day of September, setting forth name and address or claimant, regiment or corps to which he belonged, date of discharge, what application he has made for the land or scrip, and to whom, and any other information he may wish to give.
