THE ENGLISH IN EGYPT.
[by tklkgraph.— copyright. — heifer.] Received Scvtember 20th, 5 p.m. London, September 18. IN the House of Commons to-day Lord Randolph Churchill announced that Sir H. D. Wolff, British Special Commihsioner in Egypt, had prepared important proposals for the future government of that country, and these were now under the consideratio i of Ministers. Sir James Fergusaon.Under^St Ci-etary for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question aa to the proposals of the Government in regard to Egypt, stated that it had been decided not to withdraw the British troops from that country until the proposed leforms in the administration had been executed. Sir J. Fergusson further announced that Nubar Pasha, the President of the Egyptian Council of Ministers, was coming to London. The British Agent would confer with the Ministers as to reforms to be introduced into Egypt.
