These Waters are all feebly alkaline pnd strongly charged with carbonic ncid gas, which is constantly escaping: from the Springs in larpe quantities. The Lithia, a ralu.iblc constituent of these Waters, is present in an apprct iablc quantity. The Analyses show these Spring* to be very similar in cumpositiun. These Mineral Waters are exceedingly interesting, and will prove of great value medicinally. Ihry closely resemble some of the European Mineral Springs ?« justly celebrated, nmre especially those of Vichy, Ems, and Faclnngcn. Their Curathc Value will be greatest in Khrum.itic and Arthritic Diseases. Calculus, Affections ot the Kidneys, and Dyspepsia.
