Notices. MILITARY AND NAVAL LAND GRANTS. NOTICE. A ROYAL COMMISSION will sit at the Hamilton Court-house on the Ist and 2nd of October, 1886, to investigate claims for military and naval land grants. All claims are to be sent in to the Post-office, Hamilton, on or before 30th September. W. E. GUDGEON, Major. Wellington, Sept. 15, 1886. 0 T I C E. WHEREAS certain public works, that is to say, the construction of the KaiparaWaikato Railways (additional land at Frankton Junction), have been authorised, and the land for the same taken by proclamation, Now, I, Edward Richardson, the Minister for Public Works, do hereby publicly notify that I appoint the Public Works Office at Auckland to be the office at which persons claiming compensation for land taken for, or otherwise affected by, the said public works shall serve their claims, pursuant to "The Public Works Act, 1882." Dated at Wellington this Bth day of September, 1886. EDWARD RICHARDSON, Minister for Public Works.
