London, September 10. Thk Earl of IJdlesleigh, Foreign Secretary, has summoned Sir Edward Thornton, the British Ambassador, from Constantinople to discuss the situation arising out of the crisis in Bulgaria The Great European Powers are at present engaged in exchanging views with regard to the political situation in Bulgaria. In the House of Commons to-day, Sir James Fergusson, UnderSecretary for Foreign Affairs, m reply to a question, expressed a belief that no Power would act in contravention of the Treaty of Berlin.
Constantinople, Septemper 10. Latest intelligence from Bulgaria states that Prince Alexander has not yet started for Darmstadt as previously reported, but has summoned the National Assembly to meet to-morrow, and intends to leave afterwards.
