Island Bay Spring Meeting. [by telegraph.— press association.]

Wellington, Saturday. Tha Island Bay Spring Meeting was held at Island Bay to-day, The weather early in the morning was wet and the races were postponed, but at noon it cleared, and it was decided to go on. The attendance was about 500. The course was wet and heavy. The following arc the results :— Local Handicap, of 5030v5. ; second, 5 soys. 1 mile and a quarter. Mr J. Saunders The Shah 1 Mr L» A.
