They have met and have demanded that a measnte should be passed compelling brewers and sellers of beer to pos>t conspicuously notices giving exact descriptions of the ingredients used. The people who like honest malt and hops would then he able to "see that they get theiii." while those who are not of such exclusive tastes would be able to suit themselves. Ihe idea is an excellent one. The Englishman's idea of beer is a beverage made of malt aud hops.
