A PREVENTIVE OF MILK FEVER.
The Agricultural Gazette (London) published in 18S0 a homoeopathic preventive of milk fever, which is repeated in a recent issue as follows: —"Some threo or tour years ago I met a dairyman's men driving home a cow — ' to starve her down.' were their words, to prevent her having milk fever, as was the custom with all their cows, spring and fall. ' Well,' I said, ' for 6d per year your master can prevent that.' Iv a few days their master called on me for this wonderful remedy, and told me, on an average, it coHt him £30 per year iv loss of beasts and row doctoring, and never got one cured. I gave him the remedy, aconite — iv fact, I purchased tho first bottle for him, the cost Gd, bince whioh time ho lias never had a oaso. I use it also myself, and it lias always proved a preventive."
