Sjuod trustees' title is perfect. The French commandant has claimed compensation, and hn threatened to burn the hou^ei on the mission land on the most hollow pn te\t. Mr M.ic lon.il<l ha< appealed to Admiral Tryon ti t.ik^ nieasures fur the protection of the minion. A deep fei'lin«j has been excited in the islandri by the action of the Fiench commandant, which will prob.vbly lead to disastrous results.
