Athens, August 29. An earthquake, causing great destruction of property and loss of life, occurred at Philiatra, a town on the sduth-west coast of Greece, in the province of Morea. Fully three hundred persons are known to have perished.
Alexandria, August 28. Several severe shocks of earthquake have been experienced in various parts of Egypt.
Home, August 28. Reports to hand from several towns iv Italy state that heavy earthquake shocks wore felt during yesterday.
