Messrs C. 3i. Hoadley and Co. to day held a sale of thoroughbred horses. Pearl was knocked down to Mr. E. P. Donnelly at 300 guineas ; Soudan to Mr Allan McLean for 100 guineas ; General Thornton to Mr. W. Y. .Dennett for 130 guineas ; trotting mare Nelly to Mr C. Palmer at 5S guineas ; and other horses at fair prices.
