THE WAIKATO CHEESE FACTORY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — As some of the shareholders are talking of going in for liquidation at the forthcoming annual meeting of the Wazkato Cheese and Bacon Factory, I would suggest to them the advisability of giving it another year's trial by adopting some such course as the following: — Ist. Advertise for a new manager, one of the qualifications being ability to properly analyse milk. 2nd. Insist that all cans holding the evening's milk be kept under cover. 3rd. That the weight of each can be stamped on lid of same. 4th. That no milk be received under a fixed standard. sth. That tenders be called for carting, &c. t>th. That part of the land now held be sold. 7th. That something be done with unalloted shares, and last but not least that the very large amount paid for wages be reduced by one hundred pounds. Without commenting on the above, I believe if some bucli plan was adopted, we would have a different statement at the close of another season. — I am youra obediently. Obhkrter.
