TAOTAOROA BO AD BOARD.
Thk usual monthly meeting of the Taotaoroa Road Board was held at Kirkwoods Hotel on Saturday last. Present : Messrs N. Hunt (chairman), W. Semtnena, and Geo. Hally. Capt. McPherson, the clerk of the board, was absent through indisposition, but had forwarded the necessary books and papers. The minutes of the last meeting 1 were confirmed as read. Tenders were opened for keeping the main road in repair from the Cambridge town belt to the Matjimata boundary of the district for a period of twelve months. Only two tenders were received :— Geo. Wattam, £26; R. Wattara, £23. R, Wattam'* tender was accepted. The following accounts were 'passed for payment:— T. Bruce, £3 10s; George Wattitn, £0 IGa. This was all the business.
