At Wimbledon to-day in the firing for the fiist st;i^e of tho Queen's prize, the following points vrere scored by the Australians at 600 yards (seven shots) :—Lieut. Golding, Tasmania. l\\ ; Private Allet, Victoria, 25; Colour-Sergeant Gee, Now South Wales, and Sergeant Baker, Victoria, 25 ; Lieut. Col. Slap, Victoria, L'O ; Private Churchill, Victoria, 18; M. A. B t Term, New South Wales, 17; Lieut. Ito^rn, Tasmania, 12. The highest Australian scoring at all ranges so far (200, 500 and 600 yards), for which the highest English scores is 96, as follows: — Sergeant Griins, Queensland, 77; Lieut. Keating, New South Wales, 75; Lieut. Watorne, Tasmania; Cipt. Blackhani, New South Wales, 60; Capt. Powell, Victoria, 54; Lieut Cook, New South Wales, 64.
