H, C. K. Childer*, Home Secretary, ha* been elected for South Kdinhurph, and J. (*. (Joschen defeated f(»r East Edinhurph, John Morley (Chief Secretary for Ireland), and Craig, Liberals, have been elected tax Newciistle-on-Tyne. T. Sutheiland »nd T. li. Buchanan, Liber.iß have been re-elected for Oreenock and West Kdinburgh, respectively. The returns of the completed elections give 187 Conservatives, 43 Unionists and 88 Gladstonites.
