FIRE AT INVERGARGILL. [BY TELEGRAPH.-PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Invercaroill, Friday. A fire at East Gore destroyed the Provincial Hot.?), Atkins and Parrons butcher shop, two cottages belonging to Mr Milner. The hotel was occupied by Mr Lannghan and belonged to the trustee of the late P. Murray. The fife started in* the Hotel. Miliner's cottages wero insured for £150, butcher's shop £120, both in New Zealand office. The hotel is said to be insured f< r £1,100, but the office is unknown.
