In consequence of the large numbers of passengers which are expected to be carried by the Triumph to tho Kimberley Goldfields, the Government have decided to put the Emigration Act into force. This is believed to be the first titnn mich a thing has been done in New Zealand. This act fixes tho amount of space allowed to each passenger. No intoxicating liquors are t<» be sold on board under penalty of a fine of £50. Fifty days provisions must bjcairiod, which as the voyage will not last half that tine is considered rather oppressive by the agents.
