TX7AIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in terms of section 17, Counties Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1885, No. 47, that the Waikato County Council will, at a meeting to' be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Friday, the 25th day of June, confirm a resolution passed at a special meeting, and by special order on Friday, the 30th day of April, 1886, whereby the Connty by-laws at present in force for regulating the slaughtering of cattle within the county were repealed and a new by-law made in terms of section 20 of the Slaughter-houses Act, 1877. by which a fee of five pounds five shillings sterling (£5 ss) per annum will be charged in respect of every license granted by the Waikato County Council to slaughter cattle within th« county of Waikato. The proposed special order shall, if confirmed, take effect from Saturday, the 26th day of June, 1886. A copy of the uew bylair may be inspected during office hours at the office of the Council, Section 261, Kirikiriroa, from date to 2oth June. By order of the Waikato County Council. JAS. McPHERSON.
