He «aid he was convinced that the ppople uf Great Britain resolved that autonomy was necessary for Ireland, and urged that the real issue was the question of the creation of a Parliament for that country. He expressed the opinion that proposals of those in favour of Ireland seceding from the union were halting and visionary. The Marquis of Salisbury 'spoke to-night at Leeds.
