Notices. Land taken for a Road tn Kirikiriroa Road District % Piovtncial District of Auckland. (L..5.) WM. H. DRUMMOND JERVOIS, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1882," for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Kirikiriroa Road District, Provincial district of Auckland : And whereas the Kirikiriroa Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act : Now, therefoie, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section eleven of " The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the road; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the land so mentioned shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in the inhabitants of the Kirikiriroa Road District, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interest of what kind soever, for use as a road. THE PETITION of us, the undersigned ratepayers of the Mangapiko Road District, shewth, — That we number not less than one third of the ratepayers of the said Road District. That our property situated within the said County in respect of which we are rated amounts in the aggregate to not less than half the rateable property within the said Road District. That wo wish the Road Board of the said Road District to be dissolved and the said District to be merged in the said country. Your petitioners therefore pray that you will be pleased by SPECIAL ORDER to declare the Road board of the Mangapiko Road District to be dissolved and the said Road District merged in the said County of Waipa.
