WEDNESDAY. ' IN the Council, Mr Buckley, replying to Mr Peacock said, that the Government nw no reason to alter the prison regulation* in the case of remanded prisoners or prisoner* waiting trial. Mr Buckley moved the second reading of the City of Dnnedin Leasing Bill, which was agreed to, and the Council adjournned to next day.
