THE DUNEDIN UNEMPLOYED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Monday.
Thr Minister for Public Works has mtimated that no more relief works will be provided for the unemployed. A number of small contract* will bo let, provision being made for employing at prespnfr relief work. In case of men refu«inf? ? ' government will not further employ them.
Dr Hl unden requests all accounts due by.him miy be rendered before the 19ih, and.' all accounts due to him be settled on the same date Mr Tohn Knox will offer for public competition at his auction mart on Saturday next an assorted lot of furniture, saddles, bridles, Sec, also, a choic* lot of apple trees from Mr Majo's Nursery, Drury.
