THE LATEST. Received June 9th, 1 30 p.m. THE POSITION OF THE GOVERNMENT. PROSPECT OF A DISSOLUTION.
The Liberals and Home Rule. London, June 8. A Cabinet Council was held to-day to consider the position of the Government after the adverse vote in the House of Commons on the Home Rule Bill. It is generally believed it was resolved to ask Her Majesty to grant a dissolution. Ninety-four Liberal members voted against the Government on Monday night.
