The Hon. Mr Reynold* has again accepted a seat in the Cabinet without portfolio. It is understood that before consenting to join the Government Mr Reynolds stipulated that certain substantial measures of retrenchment should be adopted, to which the Government agreed. The Opposition will not propose any vote on the Budget debate, but content themselves by showing that the surplus of £38,000 is purely imaginary. They anticipate that the Treasurer will recast the proposals for railway works.
