PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in ■ terms of section 17, Counties Act, 1876, 1 Amendment Act, ISSo, No. 47, that the i Waikato County Council will, at a meet- . ing to be hold at 2 o'clock p.m. on i Fiiday, the 23th day of June, con- ! firm a resolution passed at a special meeting, and by special order on Friday, the 30th day of April, 18S6, whereby the County by-laws at present in force for regulating the slaughtering of cattle within the county were repealed and a new by-law made in terms of section 20 of the Slaughter-houses Act, 1877. by which a fee of five pounds five shillings sterling (£5 os) per annum will be charged in respect of every license granted by the Waikato County Council to slaughter cattle within th« county of Waikato. The proposed special order shall, if confirmed, take effect from Saturday, the 26th day of June, ISSO. A copy of the new bylaw may be inspected during office hours at the effice of the Council, Section 261, KiriUiriroa, from date to 2oth June. By order of the Waikato County Council. JAS.
