GREYMOUTH, Friday. Several miners left en route for Kirn* berley per the Omapare this morning. Others have previously left by other boats and other routes. Private letters from the mines agree that the excitement is increasing, many wanting to realise on mining property in older to get away. DDNEDIN, Wednesday. The inquc3t on the blasting accident was concluded to-dny, when the jury returned a verdict that Mrs Finch came to her death by a stone projected by a blast fired on the 17th ; that the said blast was unskilfully placed and overcharged, and that proper and safe appliances were not pro\ ided by the corporation. The coroner said it was a verdict of manslaughter, but the jury said they could not alter it except it might be to add "we consider the corporation liable." The coroner said they could not find a verdict of felony against the corporation, bat the jury again decided they could not alter the verdict.
