London, May 24. The Australian Mutual Provident Society of Australia commence business here towards the end of July. The Grange Vineyard Company, South Australia, have sold 300 hogsheads of wine. The cricket match, Australians v. M.C.C., which was to have commenced at Lords to-day, was prevented by continuous, rain. The sculling match between Perkins and Mattcrsi m to-day resulted in a win for Perkins bv throe lengths. Pet kins, the English sculler, the former was beaten within a milo from the start, and Perkins won without an effort.
