The cricket match Australians v. Notts was continued ut Nottingham to-day. The rain, which had prevailed 'for some days past, cleared off, und the weather was fine during the match ; the attendance consequently was good. The wicket had recovered from the effect of the wet, and was fairly lively. The bowling 'of the Australian tuam was much admired, being, as a rule, dead on the wicket, but they seem hardly to work together yet. Their, fielding is lathtu 1 weak, several gpyd chances being misled. The Australians, who the previous evening bad one wicked down fur 50, lesumcd their innings, and put together 10!), the principal scorers were— Bpnnor, bowled, 28; Scott, bowled, 23; Gfrrett, run out, 30. The home team then Went to the wicketa, and made 104, the most prominent run-getters being— Selby, ( caught, 22 ; Sh.iklock, bowled, 14 ; Shaw, nqt out, 15: Sherwin bowled, 14. The Australians then. , went in for their, second innings till , tiuib was called, when.theyjhjad'MioTed 12 for the loss of 2 wickets.
