FOOTBALL

At a well attended meeting held in the Star Hotel, Kihikihi, on the evening of Saturday, 24th April, Mr Cameron in the chair, it was resolved to form a football club, under the title of the Kihikilu Football Club. - The following officers were appointed :—: — Mr C. "W. Hursthouse, president ; Mr J. M. Cameron, vice president ; Me D. Sullivan, captain ; Mr W. Bond, hon. treasurer; Mr J. M. Cameron, hon. secretary. A goodly number of members have already joined, and it will only be uccesaary that there should bo a Rood muster at the usual Satut day's practice to giva the team some proficiency in the game. 'A match has already been arranged 1 with the Cambridge J'\ C, which will bo played 'at Kihikihi on Saturday, 2ilth inst.
