The Bolton Case. Auckland, Friday Night. Thk Bjlton case was continued at the Remlent Magistiare's Court to-day. Mr Williamson was cross-examined at great length by defendant's counsel with the object of showing that this was one of the many transactions botwoon Bolton and Williamson and that some of them wer« for Williamsons own benefit. The casa is not concluded.
Greenwood's Bankruptcy. At a meeting of the creditors of Mr R. C. Greenwood, accountant, it was reported that the books were in a, mo^t unsatisfactory state, and it was almost impossible to get a complete statement of affairs. The cash transactions for the past year showed that C4reenwood had drawn Ji2")so for personal expenses, besides £108 paid fnr life insurance premiums. The meeting was adjourned for a week, the assignee to ascertain more fully meanwhile, the position of the debtor's affairs.
The La Monte Furnace. The New Zealand Smelting Company to-day, carried the resolution to wind up.
Outrage at New Lynn. The charg* of agrarian outrage at New" Lynn by pulling down a housß occupied by a settler named Dyer has been adjourned for a week.
